Auckland CouncilAUCKLAND COUNCIL. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR A COMMUNITY LEASE AT 37 COLES CRESCENT, PAPAKURA. Closing date and time: 29 September 2025, 5 p.m. Viewing by appointment on Friday, 12 September. Deadline for applications is 5.00pm, Monday, 29 September. Auckland Council invites expressions of interest from local community groups for a sole tenant to lease the stand-alone building Centennial Restrooms, 37 Coles Crescent, Papakura. The building is currently vacant and council-s community occupancy guidelines provide for advertising the availability of various spaces within each of the buildings. Groups applying must be: · An incorporated society or a charitable trust and conform to the criteria outlined in council-s Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012. · Able to identify positive community outcomes that will occur as a result of their tenancy. · Able to demonstrate a willingness to share spaces within the buildings as appropriate. It is expected that groups will be locally based, and are required to utilize the assigned space to ensure the building maximum and active use. Auckland Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation, and to accept or reject any applications.
