Auckland CouncilAUCKLAND COUNCIL. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR A COMMUNITY LEASE FOR GLEN HAVEN COTTAGE LOCATED AT TUI GLEN RESERVE, 2 CLAUDE BROOKES DRIVE, HENDERSON. Description: Auckland Council invites expressions of interest from community groups or organisations interested in occupying the Glen Haven cottage located at Tui Glen Reserve, 2 Claude Brookes Drive, Henderson. The area available for lease is approximately 109m2 (more or less). The facility comprises of two rooms, one toilet, one kitchen and one storage room. Details of the site: Size of site: 109m² more or less Rental cost: $1300.00 per annum plus GST Maintenance Fee: $5000.00 per annum plus GST Total cost: $6300.00 per annum plus GST Term of council owned site: 5 years, plus 1 renewal of 5 years. Groups applying must be: an incorporated society or a charitable trust established for two or more years; has a sound governance structure; and meet the criteria prescribed in the Auckland Council Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012 (updated July 2023) ideally, based and working in the Henderson-Massey community able to demonstrate its viability to deliver its services and activities to the community delivering services to community group in greatest need, preferably an ethnic services targeting diverse communities ideally, able to share the space with other community groups able to demonstrate that their services/activities align with the Local Board Plan outcomes "Our people and community". Auckland Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation, and at its sole discretion to accept or reject any applications.
