Our vision is to provide a one-stop-shop e-procurement ecosystem that makes it easier for government and suppliers to collaborate and do business together. Where information, tools and business opportunities are accessible, timely and targeted. As a functional lead, NZGP must be able to provide open data and reporting on the classification of expenditure and the contracting process conducted as part of procurement activities. MBIE is looking to procure a suitable platform/combination of platforms that can support the plan-source-manage elements of the procurement lifecycle that can be used by NZGP and other government agencies (to plan, advertise and evaluate proposals from suppliers, and then manage the resulting contracts). We will be asking you to identify whether you are proposing a central platform that offers multiple features that support the entire plan-source-manage lifecycle, or just some elements of that lifecycle. The scope and high-level requirements of what we are looking for will be detailed in the Request for Information (RFI) document when it is published.
