The new fire station will comprise of four appliance bays, accessible ablutions, decontamination facilities, PPE storage, meeting/storage room and yard works. Fire and Emergency New Zealand is looking for main contractors who have the capacity, capability, experience, certification and infrastructure to deliver the required services. Providers need to demonstrate a good track record in IL4 construction (with demonstrated or relevant experience) and programme management with sound health and safety related policies. Respondents are asked to consider their timeframes, risk mitigations, COVID impacts, current work programme schedules and sustainability practices.
