Open Date: Tuesday, 7 December 2021 4:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Close Date: Friday, 11 February 2022 12:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Tender Type: Request for Proposals (RFP) Tender Coverage: Syndicated Opportunity Regions: Hawke's Bay Manawatu-Wanganui Wellington Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: MidCentral District Health Board (MDHB) is issuing this RFP on behalf of the following 6 DHBs: • MidCentral District Health Board • Capital & Coast District Health Board • Hutt Valley District Health Board • Wairarapa District Health Board • Whanganui District Health Board • Hawkes Bay District Health Board The 6 DHBs are seeking a strategic partner(s) with proven delivery experience of technology capabilities to enable a smart e-referrals, intelligent scheduling and appointment booking platform. Our goal is to reduce fragmentation within the care system, and deliver better patient outcomes by efficiently coordinating, communicating and integrating patient care flows, including between primary, ambulatory, allied and community care services. This foundational capability is a vital starting point for realising a common and ubiquitous health referrals system and care platform between all aspects of care services. It will also become a key enabler for delivering care closer to the home and within community settings as the models of care evolve over time. The 6 DHBs recognise that there may not be a ready off-the-shelf software product available that responds to the variables and complexities of the requirements described in this RFP; but rather requires configuration and coordination of multiple technology capabilities or a platform to effectively orchestrate and integrate patient care flows. As a result, it is imperative that participants responding to this RFP recognise and assess their experience, expertise, and proposed solutions within this context. The solution(s) will be implemented in collaboration with ICT, Specialist Services and Patient Administration representatives from the 6 DHBs, and community-based primary health care provider representatives.
