Tender Type: Request for Tenders (RFT). Region: Gisborne Overview: The Gisborne District Council is seeking suitably qualified and resourced arboricultural contractors to participate on a panel of Preferred Suppliers for the delivery of programmed and reactive/emergency tree maintenance works on both public park and street trees across the Gisborne District. We are looking for contractors that can offer a broad spectrum of arboriculture services utilising appropriately staffed/qualified crews and suitable machinery and equipment. Arboriculture works may include (but are not limited to); specimen tree planting, juvenile tree care and the full range of tree maintenance works on park and street trees. We are looking for a range of arboricultural suppliers who have the relevant capability and capacity, with a strong track record and ability to deliver broader outcomes to the Gisborne District community. It is envisaged that 3-4 Suppliers will be selected for the panel. To create efficiencies for Council, we are looking to capitalise on both the strengths and locations of the different Suppliers. It is not expected that all Suppliers will be able to undertake all of the tree maintenance activities required across the entire District. We are not seeking suppliers who are based outside the Gisborne District. This tender is using the new split file responses feature on GETS.
