Invercargill City CouncilINVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL. CARRON STREET WATERMAIN RENEWAL. RFx ID: 33500748. Reference: CC2027. Close Date: Friday, 20 March 2026, 4:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00). Department/Business Unit: Invercargill City Council. Tender Type: Request for Tenders (RFT). Region: Southland Overview: This contract is for the supply of all labour, materials and plant necessary for the renewal of approximately 205 m of watermain pipe on Carron Street, Invercargill. The Contract shall also include the renewal of all associated laterals, valves, hydrants, fittings, and link-in connections, removal/abandonment of existing pipes, disposal of excavated material to a consented site, and other minor works as detailed in the tender drawings and Schedule of Quantities. All main pipes will follow the existing watermain alignment, approximately 1.7 m away from the kerb and channel, at a depth below the existing watermain to clear crossing sewer and storm laterals. A ridermain loop of approximately 25 m of ridermain pipe will replace the hydrant to avoid the collection of particles that need to be flushed. 21 property connections will be replaced with approximately 240 m of lateral pipe. The existing AC pipe will be removed and appropriately disposed of.
