Region: Southland Overview: The Invercargill City Council is inviting tenderers for the supply of all labour, materials and plant necessary for the renewal of approximately 736m of foul sewer main and all associated works in Bay Road, Invercargill. The Contract shall also include the renewal of all associated laterals, manhole structures, fittings fixtures and connections. Existing foul sewer pipes are to be renewed: · On same alignments with DN225 uPVC SN8 RJ, and DN300 uPVC SN8 RJ. · The section through the rail corridor on Bay Road is required to be trenchless (pipe cracking) with DN300 uPVC SN16 Restrain. Existing property connections are to be renewed with DN100 uPVC SN6 pipes. Existing drainage pipes are to be abandoned or removed depending on the trenching methodology and location.
