Region: Wellington Overview: Kapiti Coast District Council (KCDC) is responsible for the maintenance and operations of a transport network, including local roads. The Kapiti Coast-s position as a gateway to the Wellington region and improved regional transport links make it attractive to people seeking lifestyle changes and housing choice. The Kapiti Coast has undergone significant growth and is forecast to continue to grow over the next 30 years. The KCDC intends to seek proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors for the delivery for the Asphalt Resurfacing of KCDC roads for an initial 3-year term with subsequent rights of renewal. What We Need: This Request for Tender (RFT) is an invitation to submit a tender to the Kapiti Coast District Council (also referred to in this RFT as “the Principal”) for the asphalt resurfacing for the KCDC road network. The contract is expected to start on 1 July 2025 and will run for a three-year period with a final end date of 30 June 2028, and a single right of renewal for a further 3 years subject to satisfactory performance.
