Region: New Zealand Overview: Kapiti Coast District Council (KCDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced team of Suppliers to provide/renew/upgrade the following areas of Waikanae Park: · Play equipment, including all abilities play · Safety surfaces · Skate park · Community market area · Southern car parks · Additional ablution block · Half-court basketball · Pump track · Communication boards Items that are out of scope are: · Kohekohe stand · Sports fields · Leased areas From this procurement we are likely seeking a Main Contractor to successfully deliver an upgraded community space, supported by key Sub-contractors. Although if alternative contracting models are proposed during the Interactive Workshop, these will be considered. We will be taking the opportunity to identify other key Sub-contractors (preference to be made for local suppliers) to the project that we will use to create the perfect team of Suppliers (headed by the main contractor) to deliver the outcomes. The successful Main Contractor for the project needs to be able to deliver to the project timeline, employ effective budget management and provide a high quality of workmanship. The ROI stage will utilise a collaborative market engagement process to source the right potential Main Contractor and key Sub-contractors.
