  • Request for Tenders (RFT) for Main Building Contractor for Block a Alterations & Refurbishment to Create Lsc and Upgrade Admin at , Taumarunui Open Date: Friday, 28 January 2022 9:00 AM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Close Date: Monday, 28 February 2022 5:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Tender Type: Request for Tenders (RFT) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: Manawatu-Wanganui Waikato Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: The Board of Trustees for Tarrangower School are seeking a suitably qualified Main Building Contractor to carry out Alterations and Refurbishment to Block A. The Contract Works required are: LSC Space: Create a Learning Support Coordinator Room in Block A, this includes a new cavity sliding door with glass panel, install new Autex Composition, install new cushion back tiles, replace lighting with new LED lighting, install new wall mounted electric heater, new film/tint to windows and doors, and associated painting. Admin Refurb: Foyer & Admin Refurb: Install ne concrete paths and ramps, including rails. Install new reception counter, desk and cupboards. Install new film/tint to all windows and doors. Install Autex Composition, carpet tiles & entrance matting, new LED lighting, and associated painting. Staffroom: install new walls with a cavity slider, and a new door from Staffroom through to Library, new cushion back tiles, and associated painting. Sick Bay & Principal-s Office: Install new walls to form new Sick Bay & Principal-s Office, new cushion back tiles, new LED lighting, and WEISS wall mounted heater, and extractor fan to Sick Bay only, and associated painting. Library: Line new walls for Principal-s Office, install new Autex Composition, new carpet tiles and entrance matting, new LED lighting, light switches and power points, and associated painting. All tender documentation and necessary information attached. Please note that LSC Space is to be quoted separately to the Admin Area Works. Separate tender summary and quote forms attached. Contractors must visit site. Contact School Office to arrange a site visit. Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successfull contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
