Region: Nelson Overview: The Principal is looking for a Contractor with a practical, safe and cost-effective approach to their construction methodology to undertake the associated remediation repair works at two Flood Recovery sites. Works undertaken will provide long term stability of the Arrow Street and Maori Road carriageway adjacent sites and includes the anchoring of existing retaining walls with attention given to the stabilisation of existing structures. It is recommended that both sites be constructed at approximately the same time with efficiency gains eventuating from having the anchoring drill rig “jumping” between locations to minimise downtime and complete works prior to 30 June 2025. Works will need to be undertaken with traffic management in place that will maintains resident access at both locations. Suppliers are reminded that all communication is to be via questions submitted on GETS, which will be replied to via the GETS Question & Answer facility. This tender is using the new split file responses feature on GETS. The agency has indicated that they would like to receive responses separated by price and non price components.
