All questions MUST come through the TenderLink forum Tauranga City Council invites tenders for this contract for which the works include the construction of approximately 1400m of wastewater rising main. The section of rising main to be renewed originates at the Opal Dr pump station and the design takes a reserve-based route to connect to an existing section of DN500 PE at the intersection of Gravatt Rd and Beachwater Dr. The section to be renewed includes 850M of DN500 PE100 connecting to a 550M section of DN450 stainless steel that will be carried under a timber boardwalk for the section of the route that is behind the Fashion Island complex. The boardwalk solution has been adopted to manage construction and seismic related risks due the ground conditions and proximity to the stormwater pond in this section.
