Reference: ODC C4/267. Close Date: Friday, 9 May 2025, 12:30 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00). Tender Type: Notice of Information (Advance Notice) (NOI). Region: New Zealand Overview: Opotiki District Council (ODC) is formally progressing with the Hukutaia Growth Area (HGA) Plan Change, following the adoption of the project plan in March 2025. This strategic initiative aims to rezone the Hukutaia area from rural to a vibrant residential and mixed-use zone to address the district-s growing housing and infrastructure needs. To ensure the plan change gives effect to central government policy statements, Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) requirements, Bay of Plenty Regional Council's regional policy statements, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations, ODC requires a range of important and necessary assessments to be carried out and therefore seeks expressions of interest from eligible and experienced suppliers to conduct the following technical assessments (as outlined in detail in the HGA Plan Change Project Plan.
