Open Date: Tuesday, 14 December 2021 4:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Close Date: Thursday, 20 January 2022 4:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Tender Type: Request for Tenders (RFT) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: Canterbury Otago Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: As part of the Waimate District Council (WDC) annual watermains renewal program, it is proposed to renew the existing CI watermain along Parsonage Road between Exeter Street and Butchers Lane. We are looking for a tenderer who will: • Provide value for money and increase price certainty in the procurement and construction of this project; • Provide an experienced contract manager who is fully committed to the contract; • Plan and undertake the Contract Works in a manner that is consistent with the Principal-s customer values which collectively include social and environmental responsibility; • Take ownership of contract outcomes, in particular, quality control, traffic management, public liaison, timely completion and successful commissioning; • Provide technical expertise and high quality workmanship; • Offer a project methodology that will ensure timely completion, result in enhanced performance and provide overall cost savings; • Actively demonstrates and encourages a strong Health and Safety culture in their operations; • Complete the works in manner that minimises disruption to existing road and footpath use with safe work practices for the general public; and • Work cooperatively with WDC Utilities Operational staff.
