Overview: To construct a new library on Bedford Reserve, which is a safe, fit-for-purpose building designed with staff and community needs at the forefront of good design and planning. This project is the opportunity to deliver a purpose-built library with thought into overall design and future development at the site. A modular construction allows for the building to be added to over time. We are looking to engage a contractor to develop and build a modular library on Bedford Reserve, Cannons Creek, Porirua. We have completed spatial design and base build drawings, which include specifications of our users- requirements. The project is for the design and build of the modular unit, based on the architectural drawings within this tender, installation of services, piles and finally installing the building on-site. The project will also include the interior fit-out, which includes carpet tiles, wall linings, and ceiling tiles. The building must be installed by 30th June 2026 and the interior fit-out completed and ready for occupancy by 1 September 2026. This tender is using the new split file responses feature on GETS.
