• Rotorua Lakes CouncilRotorua Lakes Council (RLC) is undertaking an upgrade of the Rotorua Dog Pound to improve staff facilities, animal management and site functionality. This Request for Tender seeks a main contractor to coordinate and complete the installation of: Three purchased portable buildings 1. Gatehouse/payment Booth Unit 2. Office/Kitchen/Vet-Room 3. Toilet/Shower Unit Foundation, services, drainage Fit out of the office in the portable building Kennel-roof works (+/- 368m2) as described in the Project Specifications Six workstreams have been identified for this project: Workstream 1 - Pre-construction, site verification and staging Workstream 2 - Foundations, transport and placement of (3) portable units Workstream 3 - Office and vet room portacom refurbishment Workstream 4 - Services, wastewater and associated civil works Workstream 5 - New kennel roof (+/- 368m2) and rainwater disposal Workstream 6 - Testing, completion and handover The facility will remain operational during construction, and the Contractor must plan and stage the work so animal containment, staff operations and safe access are maintained. RLC will supply the three portable buildings (Office, toilet/shower and gatehouse). The Contractor will be responsible for the transport to site, on-site movements and cranage identified for each unit. The Toilet/shower-building and the gatehouse are already at the Dog Pound. The Office building is in Taupo and is ready for collection/transport. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, transport, cranage, temporary works, testing, permits, protection, reinstatement and completion documentation necessary to deliver the Contract Works. The tender is Lowest Price Conforming and Tenderers shall provide a fixed lump-sum for the works specified. RLC would prefer works to be completed by the 15th of December 2026.
