Region: Taranaki Overview: The existing 250mm Cast Iron (CI) trunk main downstream from Ketemarae PRV Station is at the end of its service life. The 250mm CI trunk main forms a loop around the Hawera township to manage demands and fire flows. To decommission the 250mm CI trunk main the South Taranaki District Council (STDC) proposes to renew and upsize some sections of the 250mm CI trunk main and install some sections of new mains. Given the extent of works required to enable the 250mm CI trunk main decommission, the renewals and upsizing works have been split into multiple stages. This contract is for Glover Road South works, part of Stage 2 of the decommissioning, and contains the following sections of renewal, upgrades, and new trunk mains: · Glover Road, from Turuturu Road to Princes Street, includes the installation of approximately 268m of DN355 (ID300mm), 1084m of DN280 (ID250mm), 24m of DN225 (ID190mm), 60m of DN180 (ID150mm), 4m of DN110 (ID90mm) and 13m of DN63 (ID50mm) SDR13.6 PE pipe, including fittings.
