Region: Waikato Overview: South Waikato District Council (SWDC) wishes to invite suitably qualified Contractors or consortia with the capability and the resources to delivery of the maintenance of the local road network consisting of approximately 495.7 km of sealed roads, off-road cycleways and carparks, 25km of unsealed rural, 1.5km of unseal urban, 221km of various types of kerbs and dish channels, and 178km of concrete, asphalts and other types of footpaths within the South Waikato District boundary. The Contract covers the sealed local road network within the South Waikato District boundary and adopts a ‘fence-to-fence- approach involving the following maintenance aspects within the corridor: · Sealed Pavement maintenance · Surface maintenance and resurfacing · Carpark maintenance · Parks Access Roads · Rural litter cleaning · Incident response and other works This tender is using the new split file responses feature on GETS.
