Proposals (RFP) will shortly be sought from suppliers for delivering design and construct services associated with upgrading the Greytown Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Memorial Park, Greytown. This project is for the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of the following components at the existing WTP site: · 400V electrical supply extension · Installation and development of new bore · Modification and placement of existing containerised treatment plant · Placement and connection of existing self-bunded chemical storage tanks · Removal and restoration of existing treatment facility · Minor civil works to create interconnecting buried pipework South Wairarapa District Council (SWDC) will be procuring a main contractor via a NZS 3916:2013 Design and Construct Contract. It is SWDCs intention to release the RFP to the market in December 2025, with responses required by 27th February 2026. No response is required to this NOI, however suppliers interested in delivering this service can consider engaging with suppliers and partners prior to the release of the RFP.
