Region: Bay of Plenty Overview: The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers that Tauranga City Council will be inviting Registration of Interest for the Fifteenth Avenue to Welcome Bay Upgrade. This is a multi-modal transport and waters upgrade project in Tauranga. The ROI will be made available on GETS in mid-April 2025 and all interested suppliers will be eligible to submit a Registration The project will be delivered via a ECI Consortium Model. The scope will include but is not limited to: · Bridge retrofitting assessment (including seismic and strengthening assessment). · Progression of the current Transportation and Water Infrastructure design package through detailed design including pavement, signals, streetscape, waters (new and renewals), bridge retrofitting, shared pathways, managed lanes, new and relocated utilities, consenting, etc. · Construction Project Commencement: August 2025 (indicative).
