- Tenders are invited for Tautau Raw Water Pipeline Duplication. Tauranga City Council invites tenders for the this contract for which the scope of contract works includes Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) of the 450mm diameter PE pipeline (Approximately 400m in length). And to install the required pipe works and ancillary infrastructure at both ends of the new pipeline to connect to the existing rising main. Open Trench pipeline and ancillary infrastructure at both ends of the pipeline including, scour valve, air release valves, surge mitigation and connecting the pipeline to the existing rising main at the pump station on one end, and near the reservoir at the other end. Each of the connections are be undertaken within a 6-hour shutdown period unless otherwise agreed.
