Region: Waikato Overview: Pest Animal Control - Northern, Central and Southern Sectors and Halo Programme 2026/2027. The Waikato Regional Council contracts all possum and rat control work to preapproved pest animal contractors. The Council is wanting to hear from suitably qualified contractors who would be interested in becoming prequalified in order to be eligible to tender for these packages of works. Contractors MUST become pre-approved by the Council for pest animal services in order to be eligible to submit a response to any subsequent tenders for the services. Council anticipates advertising tenders in February and July 2026.
