Region: Canterbury Overview: Contract 25/06 - Ohoka Uv Treatment Upgrades Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the above contract. The construction of a new Ultraviolet (UV) facility for potable water at the Ohoka Water Treatment Plant. The main tasks involved in this Contract are: · Groundworks · Construction of a new blockwork building · Submission of pre-start deliverables including truss design for building consent · Installation of UV Reactors (supplied by Council) and associated process and mechanical works · Installation, testing and commissioning of associated electrical and control equipment in accordance with the electrical design · Associated civils works for inlet and outlet pipework · Coordination with Council-s Water Unit · Installation, testing and commissioning of Plant · New site entrance and fencing · Installation of principal supplied generator and associated electrical works. (Provisional) Note electrical design for the generator component is the responsibility of the contractor. · Sealed surfacing (Provisional) · Demolition of existing building at the site (Provisional) Tender documents are available for download.
