Description:
Whangarei District CouncilWhangarei District Council invites Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and capable Main Contractors for the Northland Events Centre (Semenoff Stadium) Roof Replacement Project. The project involves the demolition and removal of the existing roof and supporting steel structure, followed by the construction of a new mono-pitch roof over the main grandstand. Associated works include HVAC upgrades, internal finishes, fire and electrical system modifications, and reinstatement of existing AV and lighting systems. The project will be tendered under NZS 3910 and will require the contractor to demonstrated experience in delivering complex commercial or civic building projects, with a strong focus on stakeholder coordination, safety, and quality. This EOI process aims to shortlist up to four Main Contractors for invitation to the Request for Tender (RFT) process. EOIs shall close at 5:00pm on Friday, 28 November 2025.
